The potty
Jackson is now 4 years old. We have had our share of potty training successes but mostly failures thus far. The therapists and teachers tell us he is not ready. But we (Jeff, our daycare provider Kim, and myself) think he knows exactly what he is doing. Sure he gets busy and will forget like any kid, but he is aware of himself and can do this! It is so frustrating to have him sit on the potty, say he is done, get up and go in his pull-ups. Help! Any suggestions? I feel like we have tried it all!

If he is wearing underwear does he get upset or mad when he goes in them? I am wondering if when he stands up from the potty and then goes in underwear and gets messy..if that will help him to go in the potty? Gets pretty messy and annoying on you and the laundry though... We offered Grace a sticker each time she went IN the potty and that worked. for about a week.haha. It's such a trying time...:)
